Terms of service
BasisRestore is a record-reconstruction service. A qualification request does not create a paid engagement.
Scope
We organize and reconcile supported crypto records, document assumptions, and prepare an Evidence Pack for your review or your adviser's review. Exact scope, inputs, timing, and fees are confirmed in writing before paid work begins.
Professional boundary
The service is not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and we do not file returns or act as your CPA, enrolled agent, lawyer, or fiduciary. You and your qualified adviser remain responsible for tax positions, filing decisions, and final submissions.
No promised outcome
We do not guarantee tax savings, acceptance by an adviser or tax authority, recovery of missing evidence, or a particular completion date. Unresolved items remain visible rather than being silently assumed.
Your responsibilities
You must be authorized to provide the records, keep credentials and private keys out of every channel, answer clarification requests, and review the completed Evidence Pack for accuracy.
